Spanish 2: Reviewed pages 9 and 10.  Took notes on Question Words. Completed page 13 as a class.

Lunes

Spanish 1:  Review dates/calendar vocabulary and time by completing pages 15-16 and 19-20.

Spanish 2:  Finish pages 9-10, reviewing ser + adjectives.

Spanish 1: We discussed and took notes on el calendario, then completed pages 13-14.  Quiz Friday!

Spanish 2:  I checked for completion of Twiccionario.  Then we reviewed ser and adjectives by completing pages 7-8, 11-12.  Quiz Friday!

Miércoles

Spanish 1: We reviewed numbers 60-100+, then began working on pages 10-12.

Spanish 2: We reviewed the verb ser, then finished Twiccionario (due tomorrow!).

Martes

Spanish 1:  We took notes on numbers 0-50 and time, then completed page 9.

Spanish 2:  We began working on Twiccionario on pages 5 and 6.

Lunes

Spanish 1:  I checked for completion and proficiency of pages 1-8 in packets, then passed out new workbooks. Students used the Mayan Alphabet and numbers to write out first names and ages.

Spanish 2:  We reviewed the quizzes from Friday, and passed out new workbooks.  Students revised quizzes and submitted them for grading.

Viernes

Spanish 1: On Friday, we learned how to greet and introduce one another using basic conversational phrases. We completed the Saludos y Presentatciones Handout in the paquete. Students are to have pages 1-8 completed by Monday.

Spanish 2: On Friday, we took a quiz that gave me insight regarding how well you know/remember Spanish 1 material. Students then completed the Tirate a Escribir.

Jueves

Spanish 1: Today we learned about "el alfabeto" and completed "Capitales," then we finished the Para Empezar vocabulary puzzles.

Spanish 2: Today we reviewed "Las Entrevistas" then worked on "Tirate a escribir".

Miércoles

Spanish 1: We finished reviewing "Hablenme en Español" then we began reviewing Para Empezar vocabulary with the crossword and word search.

Spanish 2: We reviewed "Hablenme en Español" then we completed "Una Entrevista". Tomorrow we will review these entrevistas in class!

Today we reviewed some terminology and such about the Spanish-speaking culture and language.
